Description

I'm not sure if this is a bug, as I am totally new to dotclear... but I was wandering if the public directory should also be covered by the private extension.

Thanks

Hello and welcome Elcado :)

Good question. Actually it is not an aim of the plugin to protect your public directory.

If you want to prevent listing your public directory, you may add a .htaccess file (I let you look for with Google)

However, there is a way to manage the demand of a password for files in public directory : With DLManager plugin (available on the lab), you can have new links for files in public directory, and these links are handled by Private mode public. So you are done.

I hope it is clear for you.
